Roma Linen has been especially woven for Next State's digital printing. Roma is designed for interior designers and artists for your chair covering, lampshade, wall hanging, cushions and home interior applications.
Roma is a tightly woven textured linen with a natural white point, which provides richer tones to the artwork during print. Linen has yarn variation in the spinning which gives linen its classic homespun look.
Roma has a good weight to the fabric and is suitable for a variety of interior and home applications, it is lovely to sew and has a smooth surface enhancing its strength and luxury appearance.
Presenting with a beautiful print quality, fine detailing in artwork is enhanced by the linen texture.
Being linen slubbing or lumps in the yarn will occur, as the fabric is used the slubbing or lumps in the yarn will move around and reveal micro un-printed areas. Slubbing should be considered in the artwork if you are going to print large areas of solid dark colours, as yarn moves around the characteristic of slubbing will be visually more present. Slubbing and yarn variation is a characteristic of linen.
CARE:
We recommend dry clean only using hydrocarbons. (perc free). to ensure the longevity of the fabric quality.Cold delicate hand wash is suitable if the product requires. Dry flay where possible in shade.Warm iron on reverse and steaming to remove creasesOur care instructions are a general recommendation, depending on your print and product you may need to carry out your own testing.
